There is the famous fork again!  Did you get snow?
Liz replied over 1 year ago
@Clenram: A little.....lots of schools are closed but the snow must have gone north.....but they are saying we are in a lull right now and there is more to come!

Hey !...my friend !  I'm bumping your garden back to the top of the line on the garden page ! Did you hear about the accidents on I-79 and the 3 fatalities on I-80 in PA ? That's one county north of us here. Blowing snow caused white-out conditions and when drivers slowed down...well...that's how it happened. Terrible...and no way to avoid it cause it happened so fast ! We lost the metal drip-edge off the back deck...and someones little green plastic planter had blown in our yard (no plant in it though). Wish some money had blown in...but... !  ☺

@dreamwanderon: I saw that on FB this morning.  I have a niece that lives in Pittsburg and she was on her way home after it happened and had a detour that took her an hour out of her way.  I'm in Newport, Kentucky visiting my son and the drive here was windy and two nights ago I kept waking up because I kept hearing the wind.  I hope everything is OK at home.  I think we are going back to the Krohn Conservatory this afternoon.....spring flowers and wine bottles in the garden.  I really wasn't planning on going there until I looked it up and saw the write-up on the display.  It only takes about 15 minutes to get there, plus I like Cincinnati.  Tomorrow we'll visit my middle son in Columbus and then we'll go home.  We have to do our travelling before the "gardening season"  and then I have to stay home.  Hope my seedlings are doing fine.....they will look bigger when I get home because I'm not always checking on them.  Maybe even some more will have germinated, I hope!!
