The mailman had a package for me yesterday and I was all excited because I thought my dahlias had come.  When I opened the package, it was the caladiums and my free elephant ear.  I had completely forgotten that I had ordered those!  My husband brought up the dahlia tubers that were stored in the basement so I planted the dahlias and caladiums in big cardboard boxes to give them a head start to the growing season.  Eventually, I will transplant them into the garden or in pots.  I also put my elephant ear into a bigger pot.  Eventually it will go into the pond.
