Gardening since 1995

I'm a gardener who writes and a writer who gardens. I live in an old log house on 50 acres outside the city of Toronto. My garden tastes lean to the romantic with lots of roses over arches and beds filled to capacity. I've been gardening for many years following in the footsteps of my father who was an English gardener extraordinaire.

Little Stone HIll Toronto, Canada
For the past 15 years or so, I've been creating a series of garden rooms. The most completed, although a garden is never really complete, is my cottage garden. I'm a freelance writer, writing primarily in gardening and antiques topics. See my garden blog at RomanticGardening.com
