Had a bee swarm Monday.....but both hives are still very active with plenty of bees. Fortunately they swarmed to a bush within easy reach, so we captured them and gave them to a neighbor who was considering a new hive. We are "urban homesteaders" living on a 50' X 185' city lot on which we raise chickens, bees, vegetables, perennials and annuals. If it grows, we'll try it. We have a relatively short, but generally warm growing season. Looking forward to a warm sunny 2013.
