Marie,  I find interesting that you  grow vines in  containers. Are you letting your  Blushing Suzie, which looks gorgeous,  grow from the container to a trellis?  I would like to grow a vine from a container to a trellis and I wonder if you would share  some tips with me. Hi Yvonne,  I love my succulents too, especially this summer with hardly any rain, they are the only thing looking nice in my garden.  The picture with the succulents is in a container about 6 inches deep.  I also have a  container of hens and chicks that has been in a container for about 4 years now with only about 3 inches of soil.  The only problem I have found so far with my succulents is that if they get too much rain, the succulents begin to rot and fall apart.
