Hi Katie As you can see I just joined, so I need to post more pictures. Thanks for your interest in my pond. I will see what other pictures I have on my computer and will post them. It is not a very big pond, just one pre shaped form but a filter to clean up to 500 gallons. Not sure how many gallons mine is but my husband would know. I have 3 goldfish, just regular goldfish, and 2 algae eaters. My mother in law has the same but she has had her's for about 4 or 5 years now. The fish are very large now, and she just has the regular goldfish also. Mine are common goldfish called "Comets" I live in KY where it gets plenty cold but the fish do fine. I had a time with mine, it kept and kept having algae so bad you couldn't see through then all the sudden this August in a just a few days it started to clear up then within a week it was crystal clear and still is. I tried all sorts of chemicals before that for over a year, so did my mom in law anyway, her's did the same. I have one water lily but it gets so big it sorta spreads out over most the water. Blooms in the summer mine is white. So I guess if you start one leave it to nature and it will care for itself besides needing the filter. The algae eaters do not survive the winter, so I put mine in an aquarium she has. I do not know how beneficial they are as far as my pond clearing up, but I do think the extra large filter has a lot to do with it. Keep in touch nice to met you. Marlene
