I took over this allotment garden near Halfweg to escape the daily noise in my house in the centre of Amsterdam.After some time I really got interested in gardening and the beauty of plants and flowers.I like my own type of Mediteranean Garden,Prairie Gardens,Herb Gardens and gardens full of Art,particulary made from recycled natural and artificial materials . Since I don't have much time and money,my garden is an 'ongoing process'(but isn't any garden?) very,very slowly developping into something worthwhile,I hope. I've build a house and this year I started to create plants from seed out of my own...

Thanks.Despite all the heavy rainfall,and the extremely cold winter (fig tree,hibiscus,budelaja trees,and lavendel all froze and died this year) the prairie garden is doing well. |
