Gardening since 1973
Gardening is very important to me. No matter what level I achieve each season, just being part of a garden allows me to thrive and be part of a process that produces accomplishment. Growing some of my own fruit is just such a fantastic feeling..It seems so difficult but easy at the same time. Even some of the failures can be interesting..a learning experience; and the wins are fantastic!

I just love everything about gardening. So much to do and so little time..lol Each season is a bit different even though there are some improvements and some main stays, there is always new ideas to try.  Ground bees came to visit and I didn't send them away or spray them. I was glad they pollinated my fruit and flowers.  Its always interesting what might come up..including volunteers that show up near the fence and in the lawn.Mullein, English daisy, shasta daisy, wild green orchid, japanese maple, wild violets, butter cup, flowering crab apple...just to name a few came to visit my garden. So always looking for free plants.
