We dug out weeds in beds 3a and 4a and planted miner's lettuce and purslane respectively.  In bed 3b, which was an old sorrel/arugula/red mustard bed we planted 3 varieties of radish.  The sorrel flowered and presumably self-seeded and the arugula stuck around through the winter.  It was definitely colder today than yesterday,... ...see more

sounds funny to me to hear someone say they "planted" purslane...  I can't keep it out of my driveway!  =)

Planted out lettuce bed 2A today.  I planned to just have the arugula, sorrel, mache, cress, and red mustard, but Baker Creek sent some red romaine seeds for free, so I threw those in as well.
