I'm a rookie when it comes to gardening. But have become passionate about it since my daughter was born in 2010 - mostly because I worry about what she eats. I wasn't aware until recently just how many issues exist with our current food supply. So focusing on what I can control, I have started gardening in an effort to produce much of our food. And I have fallen in love with heirlooms.
