Okay, it is all very interesting, but I love coffee mugs and I am dying to know what all that writing on your cup says... that is alot of writing for a coffee mug.  :) :)  Curiosity killed the cat... :)

Any one get the "Organic Gardening" magazine? If so your opinions please... Looking for mags with good real life stuff - not fancy shamcy stuff or things I can't afford to incorporate in my yard.
milliesgarden replied 11 months ago
I get it.  I'm not sure.  I think for your money the Mother Earth News tends to have the best things to say about gardening and stuff.  It's pretty fancy and not nitty gritty.

I bet you're glad you invested in those tomato cages.
vanna516 replied 11 months ago

Glad you guys are OK with just minimal damage ... you need to develop a new type of tomato cage (you have the skills) and I could certainly benefit from it too!

So earlier this year my Jeep was hit by a deer on the highway - jumoed up out of the side of the road and hit the drivers side - messing up windshield frame, door, destroyed the hardtop.  Insurance company wanted to total it - I bought it back from them - so I had to get a salvage title for it and then had it fixed.  The day... ...see more

Ugh - just reading a garden daily email  that has Q&A...  and this caught my eye  "Question: The raspberries on one end of our patch are small and crumbly, although the foliage appeared to be normal. The other end of the patch receives the same light, soil, and water, and these berries are large and juicy like... ...see more

Last night I took down a side stall wall in the barn. Its 2" thick Amish rough oak boards - HEAVY! I'm thinking about making a rainsed planter on the East side of the barn for greens with the spare wood.
