One of the driest New Year I have ever seen. No snow in the Sierra, warm daily temps in the Sacramento/San Joaquin valley... but cold overnight temps. I have been watering my lawns it's so dry.

Don't forget: Turn up the minutes on your automatic watering devices, by watering more in the morning with an additional sprinkling at night to keep your mushrooms and fungus down. Water your garden more frequently, in the mornings are best. And don't forget your animals, make sure they have plenty of shade and water.
