Very strange weather

One of the driest New Year I have ever seen. No snow in the Sierra, warm daily temps in the Sacramento/San Joaquin valley... but cold overnight temps. I have been watering my lawns it's so dry.

You should have been in Texas this last year!  We are lucky to get rain today!
