This was a good one to use up a few extra summer squash...we liked the end result...which is always a plus. Nice blending of flavors. Recipe will be posted in the forum. | |

We all grow so much...eat, can, freeze...when the harvest is pouring in, take a basket of fresh veggies to your local senior center or council on aging. Seniors love this! Especially those on a budget.

| it is a great idea. we always plant.. way more than we can use. can/ freeze and dehydrate just for that reason. we share with neighbors.. family. retired (elderly) etc.it makes all the work worth it :>) |

Right now we have a tornado watch, a severe thunderstorm warning,and a flash flood warning. The rain is coming down harder than I could ever wish. I was just on the highway.
