This is a clue for the last EarthDay trivia question. Turns out that these open pollinated plants will attract many types of bees - both native bees and the pollinator colonies which farmers rent to pollinate a crop at a specific moment. This is what we'd all like to see, as a wildlife corridor, across vast areas of the urban landscape to preserve the biodiversity of it all! (Cities are, after all, the last bastion of biodiversity due to the wide gardening palettes out there! City landscapes are a great and hopeful solution to preserving biodiversity.)
