Ah, beautiful! We had lilacs just this color by the house where I grew up in Kansas. I always loved the smell of lilacs and wished the blooms would last longer.
Do you get lots of blooms on your bushes? I planted a lilac bush about 12 years ago and I get very few blooms. I think they take awhile to get established...but 12 years!
