Ifin directed me to your Missouri Botanical Garden post since I recently posted Chihuly glass photos from my trip to the Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids, MI.  Your pictures are gorgeous.  We have friends who moved to St. Louis recently and they keep inviting us out there.  They even sent us photos of their trip to this garden.  I think your post will help to make this happen.  Thank you!       (less)

Thanks so much Liz.  You won't be disappointed when you visit the Missouri Botanical gardens.  I love your bottle tree archway.  I have a poor man's bottle tree too--just 5 or 6 wine bottles from the flea market so far.  I only have one Mimosa tree left in my yard.  An ice storm in 2007 took down my remaining pine trees.  I use arborvitae and ornamental grasses to create whatever height I can now.  I decided I wasn't going to plant any trees that would require a tree company coming out if there was another storm.  I hope you get to visit MO Botanical gardens soon.  Your photo of the Chihuly exhibit in your neck of the woods is great too!
