7 jars of Wild Blackberry Jam... My favorite! Lot's more picking to do.

I love all the berries. When my mother-in law was living with us I would have to make jelly instead of jam (dentures). The seeds don't bother me one way or the other but everyone here became so used to having it that wayI just kept on. Jelly & jams are one of my Christmas basket fillers.

@RoriTx: I love making jams. jellies and chutney's for Christmas basket stuffers too. I'll be sending some raspberry and blackberry jam to my parents in Arizona soon, too. They will be surprised... They both say wild blackberries are one of the treats they really miss from the Pacific Northwest.

How fun to send a piece of the Pacific Northwest to Arizona. :)  Your parents will certainly enjoy it!  I made mine with 1/2 the seeds and I am wishing now that I had removed all of them.  I did not mind them in my youth, but now I like it better without.  :)

@JMTKMS: I think I might put a batch through the food mill and get most of the seeds out, too. My parents will be happily surprised! I am going to send some Raspberry jam too as soon as the fall crop is ready. My raspberries are loaded with flowers and buds for fall raspberries. YUM! :)
