You better knock on wood... every time I say summer is here, the wind comes up and cools everything down.  Plus it makes it really hard to plant carrots!  :(

We are still gathering and storing in the freezer.  I am glad you are getting yours, instead of the birds.
SweetDomesticity replied 11 months ago
Your berries are looking mighty good!  Mine have slowed down a bit in this heat, but I think it's mainly a water thing - I let the hose run on them for a while early this morning - I hope that helps!

That is a very exciting thought!   Hey, I talked to my dad and the grill he was talking about is the same one you got.  Just such a small world... so funny he mentioned it to me, the night before you told us you got one.... :) :)

After years without a Barbecue, I purchased a new Traeger Grill today. I got it put together and seasoned tonight so I can Barbecue or Smoke something for dinner after work tomorrow.

The Zucchini coming is always such a happy time for me, as it usually leads the way for so many other plants/harvests...  :)

Did you pull them and hang them, or just let them dry on their own?  Is either way okay?
SweetDomesticity replied 11 months ago
That's going to be a great harvest of seeds!

I love lettuce trees..... I never realized they could grow so tall.  John mowed my tree...  :(  He did not know I wanted to keep it.
milliesgarden replied 11 months ago
I've never heard about this before.  How cool!  It's really a tree?

Nice, I'm really going to try and expand my onion varieties. I've been stuck too long on just growing what the feed store offered.
JMTKMS replied 11 months ago
This does sound like a good addition to our onion collection.  I really just picked onions blindly from the baker creek catalog... I have yet to see if we are pleased.
