This is a community garden in my neighborhood which is getting a facelift now after 15 or so years. University of San Francisco and others are joining together to help support the former San Francisco League of Urban Gardens (SLUG) installation, which provided green space, food and recreation in the center of San Francisco's most densely populated areas. Prof. Melinda Stone is leading the effort at Booker T. with seniors students from the Capstone project and freshmen students from the USF Living Learning Garden Initiative.
