The fall planting are really starting to come in now though it will be a while longer... ...see more

Wow, they look like big green peppers!  My acorn squash did not grow last year, I will be looking forward to them this year, as well as the sweet potato squash that I will be planting. :)

I might have to try this. I actually still have one Banana squash and one Sweet Hubbard squash in my house. I had to bring them in from the garage because it got really cold here over the weekend. Temp in the garage dipped below freezing for a few days.

Activity-icon-status

I peer everyday down into the center of the broccoli hoping to find some evidence that we will soon be able to enjoy some tastes of fall. I planted three varieties this year but I'm afraid only two survived the early heat back in September. I did a little replanting in the bare spots so the lines between just what is what have... ...see more

It is so strange yet wonderful to see some one harvesting in November. Your gardens produce so well. You must have green thumbs and fingers and toes and maybe even elbows!
Fall #10......seems I skipped #9 Nov 04, 2012
Activity-icon-status

The leaves are changing into the pretty red and golds of November. The days are getting shorter and I am still wearing a tank top outside to work in the garden...hmph. I protested today by wearing it with my overalls since it's the first of November and I will not be cheated by natures twisted sense of humor.I'm telling you the... ...see more
