I'm getting a late start today after a lot of mulching & digging yesterday. This old gray mare ain't what she used to be. I put up some PVC hoops in front of the winter squash so I can try and control them when they start to climb. A cut worm got one of my tomatillos I thought was big enough to be past the danger size. I stuck it back, cut end into the ground,watered it and covered it up with a clay pot to keep the sun off of it in hopes it may try to root. All my drip line is up in the garden and I'm going to try and get it laid out so we can get the water flowing. I've been using my sprinkler on  high on a pole so far and it surely can waste the water.
