Bulls Blood Beet  I'll get to tagging soon. I've been uploading and my squirrel that runs the internet must be tired this morning. Slow going

@RoriTx:  My bulls blood did not make it.  I have more seeds...when should I try again?

I have another packet of these and some of the ones with the circles. I'm going to plant a full length bed (one of the squash beds) about September. That should work for you too. We should be able to pick by November.

@RoriTx: Ok I am putting it on my calendar....Rori says, "plant Bulls Blood Beets in September"

Just planted this one a few days ago - can't wait for them to start coming up!

@SweetDomesticity...:  I bet they will grow well up there!

@SweetDomesticity...: I read yesterday's blog post. I love the photo of your hand holding the beet seeds. That's why I let Laynie plant them. The pods are so large she could set them down and push them into the ground with her finger.

@Clenram: Yes, they should do well! This is my first year growing them, but my mom has grown them for years. I love the adventure of trying something new in the garden :)

@RoriTx: Thanks!  They are fun seeds, aren't they - so much texture.  I be Laynie had fun helping you plant them!

@SweetDomesticity...:  I do too...I want to grow things that other people around here don't.  I get the larger bags from Baker Creek so I can play and experiment.  :)

@SweetDomesticity...: she loves it anytime I encourage her putting her fingers in the dirt. I have another packet of these and a packet of Chiogga for fall beds

@RoriTx:  Can I barrow her...I have seeds to plant today!

@Clenram: I'm going to figure out how to teach her to catch squash bugs!

@RoriTx: Wow what an asset she will be!
