I have never grown radishes before...but I ordered seeds from Baker Creek last week.  Should I still try to plant them in between the Squash when they come in or is it too last this season?

I just planted a little block of regular radishes yesterday. I keep them in the shade so in between the squash should work. I laid some wet newspaper over the top so it would stay cooler. This rat tail kind is grown for the seed pods instead of the root. It will grow in the heat and the pods look like rat tail shaped green bean. I read they're supposed to taste like radish. Thomas Jefferson grew them.

@RoriTx:  it will be interesting to see them and see how you cook them.
