@vanna516: Looks like a turnip so far. I think the outside is supposed to turn green when they're ready to pick.

@RoriTx: I thought it was pretty white with red stripe (first pic).  Radishes were the first thing ever to give me heart-burn so I quit eating them about 20 years ago - before that I couldn't eat a salad without one.  Seriously giving some thought to trying to grow some next year.

@vanna516: I only planted a few of these now because I was so curious to try them out. The package says to plant in fall. They are supposed to end up 3-4" around like a turnip and take the cold weather so I'll plant the rest in September. I peeled this one and tasted it. It was very very mild with just a hint of radish "heat". I think the Chinese mu... cook with these.
