Wow - looks great.  Onions - the one thing I use in just about everything - is also one of the things that I never really have any luck with ... I've tried seeds, bulb sets ... and still only come up with enough for a salad or two.

@vanna516: I planted these from starts but I think I will start some from seed about late July. I'd like to try some of the Egyptian W... Onions, the little flat Cippolini and a few others the feed store will never sell around here. From what I'm reading around here it takes a pretty good while for them to get going from seed. I planted these in a 8' x 10' raised bed. I've grown them in rows and wide beds too but the raised beds are winning. They are bulbing nicely and showing no sign of bolting.

@RoriTx: As always good advice ... since the "onions" in my yard grow better than the ones in my garden, I can use any help that I can get!

@RoriTx:  I started some from seed and they finally came up the were some from Baker Creek.  We are using them now for green onions.  I wondered if I should pull them up and replant them to help them make bulbs.  I decided no...they are a type that does not make big bulbs anyway.
