Hey, I am starting those too!   Have they sprouted?
RussGarner replied about 1 year ago
Not yet, never tried a milk jug like this.  I cannot believe how many pepper varieties I bought this year, but hope to get every one of them planted!

We want lots of pepper too!  I use the milk jugs on the peppers when they are in the garden.  When I seed outdoors and or when I plant small plants.  The jugs keep them warmer and they grow much faster and healthier.  Experimented ... year with and w/o milk jug caps.  Everything with caps surpassed the same plant types without.  I will use them every year.  We got the idea to use them when we drove past a garden that was using "espresso" coffee cups for caps.  No light gets in, so we though milk jugs would do better, and boy did they!

I also made up some pots last night using newspapers.  Trying to cut down on cost, as well as being environmental friendly!

I keep seeing these "newspaper pots", but how exactly are you making them.  Just water or what do you glue/bind them with??
RussGarner replied about 1 year ago
Tell you what, I will post strp by step pics tomorrow of how I do it, better than telling you. No glue involved!
