There is a department store commercial we saw in California.  In it the person is looking through the store window and saying over and over "Open, open, open."

Open, open, open...

Sunflowers are covered with white tall kitchen trash bags (attempt to keep from frost.)

Tried to get a picture of the bumble bee investigating the Lemon Queen seedlings.  It would not sit still, and became very LOUD. No flowers, just seedlings.  The bumble bees are regular visitors to the blueberries flowers in the back yard garden.  Was surprised that one was so intent on the lemon queen sprouts.

One bumble bee (the field would not upload the number, so adding as a comment.)
Bumble Bees do not pose. When bothered they are loud. Apr 19, 2012
