We started gardening in 2008 with 96 square feet of raised beds and quickly grew to love having soil under our fingernails.  Next, in 2009, my husband built my greenhouse with around 110 square feet of space so we could grow tomatoes for salsa and sauce at our 6000 feet elevation.  Last year we added another 150 square feet to the garden outside, but it still isn't enough to feed our family of four for a year, which is our goal.  This year we will add another 200 square feet and hope that is our last addition for awhile!
