I inherited my love of gardening from my father, who plopped me down in the dirt next to him as soon as I was old enough to sit up. This particular Dirt Mama's Garden has been evolving since 2003 when we bought this beautiful home by a little creek. The first 5 raised vegetable beds were put in last year. I have used organic soil, seed, and fertilizer.

OMG- finally a few days of 80 degree weather. You should see what has happened to the tomatoes and Okra. I have a gastronomic orgy just waiting to happen!

I have no idea what is in the air right now, but it smells the same for 30 miles. From my home in Woodstock all the way to the heart of Atlanta, there is this totally fabulous smell.
