I may have to go with the chicken wire. Getting cats may require getting a new husband and I am not ready to trade him in yet, especially as he likes to dig in the garden with me!

Hope you have conquered the rabbits. Last year we fought off the armadillos that were destroying the garden for several weeks until my son decided to sit up all night with his gun and got the nasty critter. Maybe your husband would be willing to compromise on the cats if they were just 100% outdoor cats. Just a thought...
