I was born with a natural green thumb.  My grandfather was a great gardener and so was his father.  All my adult life I enjoyed taking care of my house plants and watching them grow. Then in 2006, I bought a house and moved on to vegetable gardening.  I have been in love since!  Gardening for me is a huge stress reliever!

I have voted for your garden on as one of the top 25 'Fabulous Food Garden's'

I can relate to your story, Tine. I was a houseplant person and never had a garden until June, and it's in my blood! Now when I think of it, my mom and her mom were both avid gardeners, and it just feels so natural to be digging and weeding and mucking about. I wonder if there is a gene for gardening?
Tine replied almost 2 years ago
@Claire: It seems with gardening, one either loves it or does not garden....Maybe it is in your blood! Who knows... I will say that for me it truly has been a stress reliever.... I love it and can't wait for the season to come!  I don't really enjoy the mowing but I love to pull weeds!
