Got heirlooms?  :-)
Tom replied over 1 year ago
I must say I am really excited for this spring. In addition to the heirlooms we are planting (42 thus far), we are putting in a Chili Garden and a huge field of sunflowers. We are also going to be experimenting with Mycorrhizae and conduct some side by side tests of this additive. We'll be posting all our results.

@Tom:  Wow are going to plant all of those Baker Creek Seeds?  I have started a bunch here in Texas!  Happy Growing!
Tom replied over 1 year ago
@Clenram: Yes I am! Plus friends are bringing more stuff next week. It should be an extravaganza and I can't wait!

@Tom:  How Great!  We don't have many people in our area that grow vegetables... our area.  We hope to get a group going in the future!  I love all of your photos!  Thanks so much for posting and inspiring me!

@Tom:  I love the Baker Creek seeds.  They never seem to fail.  I have a bunch of basil ...Purple and opal that I am growing from seed from my plants I got last year from Baker's Creek.

@Clenram:You should enter our Grow it Forward contest. It should be lots of fun and a great way to connect with gardeners all over North America.

@Clenram: It's going to rock!

@Tom: it will be so much fun!  I think we should get some great examples of Heirlooms.  It will give us a chance to show how great these plants are and to talk of the advantages of growing heirlooms...Happy Growing!

I love the colorful seed packets. I have to figure out how to use them as labels in the garden.....without them fading. I have an idea and I'll try it to see if it works. If it works, I'll share.....I love art in the garden! Happy planting!!

@Liz:A home laminator would be the simple answer, but I was just thinking that recycled convention badge holders would do the trick too
Tom replied about 1 year ago
@Kristen: IMHO, a laminator is better because it would keep out humidity. The badge would not seal completely.

@Tom:  I think she said that she is going to decoupage  it!  You will have to look at her site...but I think she is putting them on hokey sticks?
Tom replied about 1 year ago
I have some ideas as well. I'll see how they work out and share as well.
