This Rogers red grape has such an intense color -- and it seems to magically appear on every leaf overnight.  Is it photo-period, or temperature that controls leaf color changes?

As a newcomer to San Francisco, it is nice to see some green in the area. One thing I miss about living in the city is seeing plants growing everywhere. I'll have to check this out to get my nature fix.
