Peak Fall colors at the Asian Garden at University of California Botanical Garden at Berkeley this week. These are some of the oldest, rare Japanese cultivars in the U.S., brought in for the 1939 International Exposition on Treasure Island in the San Francisco Bay. These Fall colors are coincident with th...e exhibit "Ten Centuries of Japanese Botanical Art" at Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive ; shuttle buses run between the two "museums" all month.
