Beets are beautiful! These are the last of our golden beets and I'm bummed we won't get to keep enjoying the bi-color beet dishes. But we do have plenty of Lutz Salad Beets to keep us eating through the season (and beyond) thanks to Baker Creek!

I tried golden beets last yr and they did nothing...but we had a funny spring. I'm having much better luck this yr with beets, so we will have to try golden next yr. They are so pretty.

Are the orange ones beets??  I was thinking they were carrots.  So, do you like the color difference, or do you notice a flavor difference between these beets?  We always grow the cylindra beet, because its long shape seems more workable and you seem to get more "beet per plant".  What do you think ot the long ones?

@JMTKMS: The orange ones are beets; golden beets. There isn't too much of a flavor difference. Though the golden beets are a little more subtle I enjoy them most for the color variety in our beet dishes! Its the artist in me! I like the long beets and we actually just picked up seeds for a long golden beet so we will see how those do in a few months.
