Well we finally got a storm yesterday and oh what a storm it was....10 minutes of very intense winds, about 5 minutes of very light drizzle and about 3 hours without power. Not exactly what I had in mind. Guess I'll try dancing to a different beat!
My goodness. It seems like people all over are suffering drought and having storms. Odd weather patterns across the globe I guess. Still waiting for rain here in Massachusetts.
How do you know when corn is ready to pick? Since this is our first time growing it, we don't know what to look for. The extreme heat seems to have stunted the stalks, but the ears are getting bigger...
