Katie and Alfredo for some reason. maybe my comp is to slow i couldn't get it to play  Marcy and i would really love to see it :) our internet service that is. not much to chose from way out here:) after 2 hours its playing now  thanks for the tour awesome (JOHN)
Beautiful! Alfredo, the green jeans are the perfect garden attire... thanks for the tour; wish I could come over & help you eat the zucchini; our plants were hit by the dreaded squash borers & we haven't had one zuke... did just pick our first cukes today, and the tomatoes are starting...
Very wonderful video, but it really shows me that I need to upgrade my internet.  Thank you Katie and Alfredo for such a wonderful tour and for all your advice.  Radishes around squash, coffee grounds for flea beetles and the great info on Amaranth an... all its more medicinalÂ....  I an going to enjoy seeing all the tomato types, as they ripen.  You all will be very busy, but most likely really enjoying it.  I am so glad the garden is turning out so wonderful, it is a great place to see.  :) :):)  Did the dog and cat get introduced?  I may have missed that... but they are so good together.. Very fun.  :)
The dog is named Franco and the cats are Tiggy ( the first cat you see) and then Minky, Kino and Zena. When we are in the garden they always come over to keep us company and to ambush each other because there are so many place to hide. Lots of fun!
The animals add such personality!  I love ours in the garden, except when they roll over my plants and break them, trying to get me to pet them...  But, they sure do a great job protecting the garden, so we can excuse a little bit of damage.  :)   Farm Dinner in Italy, what a nice thought...  But, I am still thinking that a Farm Dinner on the forum would be great also...  Everyone just post favorite recipe with a story... it would be wonderful!  The Food Forum is already getting so many great recipes, it would be wonderful to add a bunch more.  How about it?  If everyone added 3 recipes with a story by the end of August, we could have quite a "cookbook" reference at our fingertips  for some wonder meals to come!  Â
@JMTKMS: Now that is a GREAT idea! We could make it the Grow it Forward Cookbook
2012. Let me talk about this with the YGS crew and see what we can come
up with. I love the story idea as well. Could be very cool.
Thanks!!!
@Tom: Â Thank you, I will be waiting to see what you come up with. Â It does surely sound good to me, I am already enjoying so many great recipes that everyone has shared, it would be great to have a whole collection. Â :) :) :)
Glad everyone is enjoying the video; it was fun to make. There is so much to say about the garden we could have gone on for another 15 minutes but thought we would spare you all the minute fussing over every blemish and/or the parental pride that comes with every veggie harvested! There is a spanish version of this video that we will be uploading soon.
@YourGardenShow: Â The video was great! Â It is really so interesting to see what you all are doing, but even more interesting to see it in Italy! Â How fun. Â How is it that you all came to be in Italy? Â I love the scenery, and the interesting stories from the neighbors. Â Thanks for sharing!Â
