Going to make a red romaine salad with an herb vinagrette (maybe even add some amaranth seeds to the dressing)...and going to pan fry: the flowers and thin sliced radishes (not pictured, I picked those yesterday) in a light thin tempura batter. And going to make some citrus tea with the lemon balm and will add the basil to some cheese. I have some (storebought) mixed beans soaking and will cook those up with a little pork. And making some rosemary bread!! I haven't cooked in the past few days so I'm making up for it!!!
Thanks! had to scrap the salad for another day: the romaine is pretty bitter...I put it in the fridge so hopefully in a day or two it will lose its bitternes. I added (storebought) onions and green peppers to the flower and radish pile to be tempura-ed! May add some spirits and fruit to the tea: using your garden-tea cocktail as inspiration!!
