Garden is doing pretty good. My whole "tall spy border" deal isn't really panning out the way I had hoped...but still many days of growing left! I think those hulless oats don't get as tall as I thought they were going to, they seem to be stagnating at about 4 ft tall. I think I should've done corn instead but thats ok! Some of the plants that the deer ate are actually rebounding (amaranth, sunflowers) so glad I didn't pull up all of the bare eaten stalks! FINALLY the beans and cucumbers are starting to climb the trellises so really happy about that. Random thing I've learned, nasturtiums and squash like a little shade. I'm kinda glad I planted different varieties of the same thing in different places, able to see what they like best.
