Funny how so many seeds look so much alike, but are so different!  Good labeling is a good skill right now.  :) :)

Cilantro is coriander in the dried seed form (vice versa)?  Thanks for the ID- the plant was telling me it was something I should like :)

cilantro is the fresh herb and when it dries out and goes to seed the seed=coriander yes

they are definitely very different flavors: I love fresh cilantro--you know it is really good sprinkled on popcorn--sounds weird but try it!. Dried coriander is ok kind of lemon-y but definitely tastes nothing like cilantro.
