a couple of these came up, were growing fine and then in the past couple weeks they just kinda dried up and died (not for lack of water?)

I discovered a forgot a cucumber (White Wonder) on my list this weekend ... of course, i thought it was a squash until I got down a really looked - couldn't figure out why I didn't have any cucs yet - think I let them get just a tad too big.

I really like those love-in-a-mist flowers!! supposedly they self sow pretty easily so glad about that!

I planted the Love in a Mist last year - they came back better than ever this year.  Of course, I'm a pretty lazy flower-gardening person.

I definitely feel having flowers integrated into veggies is a great plan. They look good, attract bees/other beneficial bugs (my borage is working as a great trap crop for japanese beetles), and they are deer-proof (at least the ones I chose!)

Garden is doing pretty good. My whole "tall spy border" deal isn't really panning out the way I had hoped...but still many days of growing left! I think those hulless oats don't get as tall as I thought they were going to, they seem to be stagnating at about 4 ft tall. I think I should've done corn instead but thats ok! Some... ...see more
