Gardening since 1975

My wife Phoebe and I bought a 1923 Spanish/Mediteranean style home on the hillside that overlooks the Port of Los Angeles. "This old house" has been our art project for a decade now. Phoebe and I completed are masters degrees in the visual arts and have and continue to exhibit, teach, and employ our design sense to things around us including our award wining landscaping. Our yards are planted with (mostly exotics) cacti & succulents. Born and raised here we still dig all there is to offer in So. Calif. It is the greater out doors, wether our travels or just working in the yard at home, that appeals to us.
