Sunnypatch Bayou

Apr 13, 2012

Tomatoes- Cherries look solid and healthy, Heirlooms look droopy but seem strong, bottom leaves on heirlooms are turning yellow so I am reducing water, main stems are thick and strong, cherries producing fruit and flowers, cherries 24" heirlooms 18"

Peppers-Seem to be slow growing, bottom leaves turning yellow so am reducing water, otherwise look healthy and are producing flowers, stems are thick and strong 8"

Cucumbers- Slightly yellow so reducing water, normal to wilt slightly during heat of day and spring back in evening, producing runners and nice yellow flowers 12"

Okra- Seem to be very slow growing, but very young when transplanted, so we will see, nice red stems thickening, leaves look good, broad and green 5"

Squash- doing amazingly well, nice dark broad leaves, lots of flowers and fruits already, some fruits almost ready to harvest, the transplants are doing much better, older leaves died off but new ones growing in so I have hope 1'x2'

Beans- Doing very well, germinated quickly, nice dark leaves, looks to be making flower buds stems are nice and thick 12"

Melons- slow to germinate but took off quickly once established, only two Oka's germinated but plants are doing well, dark green broad leaves thick stemmed and making runners no flowers or buds yet
