I'll have to go check on that and get back to you. We had snow the other night and frost today with sunshine both days. It's confusing for these poor seeds!

Well, did your garden grow? It must be hard to have a school garden and then have summer come and take away all the gardeners. :) :) Hope it all went well.

Thank you, my husband took the photos. When it warms up here the city comes alive with color and green, it's so beautiful. There is just enough of each season to anticipate it, enjoy it, get sick of it and anticipate the next one.

Our school garden is 4 years old. We have beds for each grade, a garden club bed and special pumpkin patch that also houses sunflowers. The garden is funded by the PTA and run by parent volunteers. We have worm bins, a three-bin composting system and a cold frame. Our garden has it's seasons here in the Pacific Northwest where it can be very wet and muddy. It's such a beautiful transformation Spring through Fall, amazing really.
