Asparagus is so cute as a baby! I planted some by mistake one year, spilled the seeds in a flower pot outside, the next year I was looking at the pot and thought "whatever" was growing was just so cute, then realized it looked like Barbie Doll sized Asparagus. I realized then that it was the seeds that I had spilled. Probable a hundred seeds in one 12 inch pot. They were very crowded. I left them, but the next year when I saw they were still trying to make it, I separated them and planted about 30 of them. Still took two more years, but they started producing, then we moved the next spring. I hope they kept the garden.
