A Grow It Forward heirloom garden

Our current home came with a well established Haralson apple tree and healthy plantings of raspberries and rhubarb.  In 2011, we added two varieties of strawberries: Fort Laramie and Winona.

This is my non-herloom garden. It sit's on the left side (stage left that is) of my door and gets the exact same amount of light as the heirloom garden which sits on the right side.

It's my first year at this location, and am no longer growing in raised beds, but continue using compost.  We shall see how it goes!  Soil test say the location is decent.
