This is wonderful! I imagine gardening in the Keys is a little different than gardening here on the cost of Massachusetts. How's the weather down there?

In three words, hot hot and hot. We're always in the high 80s to low 90s every day from June through October. But we love it. However, it does make gardening a real challenge. No frosts means we can grow t... more »

I lived in New Hampshire for 20 years and felt the same way. And then, boom, moved to the Keys 15 years ago and never looked back.

Something, don't know what, got into my lima beans. The pest opened the pod and removed and ate the bean. i'm wondering if anyone knows what it could be and how to stop it.

could it be chipmunks?  They did that to my peas onetime.

We don't have chipmunks down here but it could have been squirrels. I'm using pepper spray to try to fend off new damage.
