Nursing broccoli starts -- Jack Rabbits got into them this week. A few are leafless and one is down to the ground. Wind advisory in Cedar tonight. Will they make it through the night. I covered them with bird netting.

Snow storm Apr 02, 2012
Activity-icon-status

A snow storm hit Cedar yesterday right after I plantedĀ  peas and broccoli. Temperatures were in the 20s at night.

Broccoli survived. Peas looked a little worse for wear but are surviving.

We here in Logan ut just got hit with a snow storm too, so far we have 2 in. on the ground. I'm hoping my broccoli and peas endure.
