Sprayed malithion trying to get rid of bugs eating plants. will see if it stops the destruction.Dont like having to do it. Also put down snail bait. I wondr if it could be mice????? |

Something is eating my plants,it could be a grasshopper. There is no slime trail. Leaves are nipped off some eaten stalks half eaten vertically. Any ideas? Nothing ate anything till this week.

Well I have planted 10 tomato plants 1 pepper 2 cantalopes 1 watermelon and some herbs. Hopefully no frost to come.

Small frost this morning. The seedlings in the garage didnt like the frost's hope they will survive!!! The plumaria is not looking very good. I kept it in all winter but i just dont know.

| I suppose the rest of the country all think that CA is immune to April frosts. Do you have seedlings to go out or plants that you overwintered? |

It is in a new area of the property so I have added vermiculite and compost with some peat moss. It was Hard ground,with all the recent rains it absorbed it all with no runoff. this will be the first year for it. I have high hopes.
